"I am making everything new!"

Revelation 21:5

As we celebrate 2019, we look back on the many wonderful things God has done, and look forward to all He has yet to do. The 773 JESUS Film teams ministering around the world have incredible opportunities and plans to go where the church is not yet, with a vision to give every person an opportunity to hear about Jesus Christ.

Save or print this email and join us in prayer for JESUS Film teams this month!

Praise God!

  • For the opportunity He has given to share Christ with others through the JESUS film in this new year!
  • For the safe return of the JFHP Cuba Partner Trip participants. We anticipate great collaboration and Kingdom-building work between Harvest Partners and JESUS Film teams throughout the four upcoming Partner Trips this year.

Prayer Points:
  • Guinea remains largely unreached by the gospel. Pray for the JESUS Film teams to find opportunities with the country's 30 unreached people groups as they share Christ through the JESUS film.
  • Over 43% of the population is under the age of 15. Youth ministry plays a large part in reaching Guinea for Christ. Pray for JESUS Film teams to make a difference in the lives of these youth.
  • Guinea has remained stable for the past twenty years, allowing religious freedom across the country. Pray this freedom will remain as JESUS Film teams show the film in villages across the country.
“I was so obsessed with drinking that I lost my memory! I had been drinking for ten years and my life had no meaning or purpose. My wife left me, taking our children with her. I was considered a madmanby my neighbors. After I watched the life of Christ and saw the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross for me, I asked Jesus to forgive my sins and release me from my addiction to alcohol. I want to live my life for God and be reunited with my wife and children.”  New Believer

Prayer Points:
  • JESUS Film teams request your prayer as they receive training and develop a strategic plan for their ministry throughout Colombia.
  • Colombia is moving toward stability and order after years of unrest and crime. Pray this new era of stability will help and encourage teams as they show the film.
  • Prayer is the answer to Satan’s hold on Colombia. Pray for God’s Spirit to be felt as people turn to Christ for answers to their life’s questions and problems.
Efrain's testimony: “I have lived a life of sin and am divorced from my wife. However, I found new meaning to life and a reason to live after watching the JESUS film! I asked Jesus to forgive my sins and live in my heart. I want to live the rest of my life for God. God has called me to move to a new neighborhood where I have started a new discipleship group. I am happy to share how God can make a difference in everyone's life.

Prayer Points:
  • Brazilian teams request your prayer for God to strengthen them as they pursue sharing Christ with others through the JESUS film in this new year.
  • With one-half of the land surface and population of South America, Brazil is the world’s fifth largest country. Pray this huge country will be reached for Christ through the JESUS film.
  • Pray for the JESUS Film teams who are going where the church is not yet, using boats along the many river basins in Brazil.
"I work in the state prisons. I have a lot of stress and pressure in my job, which makes me lose my patience with the inmates. I am constantly fighting with them. I watched the JESUS film when it was shown in my neighborhood, and realized I needed to change my behavior and follow Christ. Christ has changed my life completely. The inmates notice how I now treat them with respect.”  --Ubiratan, 38-year-old

Prayer Points:
  • Teams in Cote d'Ivoire request your prayers for God's peace to touch hearts and lives along the Ivory Coast's turbulent climate.
  • The northern part of the country is largely unreached with the gospel. Pray the JESUS Film teams will make inroads to the people groups who desperately need to hear the Good News of Christ.
  • Many people from neighboring countries have emigrated to Cote d’Ivoire. Pray that teams' outreach to immigrants will provide opportunities to reach these neighboring countries for Christ.
"I drive a taxi. I had an accident which killed some of my passengers and was put in prison for six months. I really suffered from the conditions in prison. I received a booklet about Jesus. I didn’t understand it since my family and I were from a radical religious group. After being released from prison, I searched for Christ-followers to learn more about what I read. I found the JESUS film being shown in my neighborhood. When I watched Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for my sins, I knew I needed Him in my life. I asked for forgiveness for my sins and want to live my life for God. I now help with the JESUS film showings in my neighborhood."  --Ouattra, 29-years-old
