"Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."

Matthew 5:16

We are called to be gospel spreaders, not just gospel consumers.

As a Prayer Partner, you play a vital part in spreading the gospel by praying for those who are being discipled in their faith.

Please note: Prayer updates will now be delivered monthly instead of weekly. We appreciate any feedback you would like to provide on this change.

Prayer Points:
  • Pray for the hundreds of communities in the north where villagers are open to the gospel. Pray for the safety of the JESUS Film teams as they travel by motorcycle over dirt roads in this remote area.
  • Buenos Aires is one of the world’s largest urban areas. Pray for the JESUS Film teams working in this city to effectively reach the 3 million people living in this area.
“Although I knew Jesus, I lacked knowledge about the Bible. After watching the movie about Paul’s ministry, seeing how his life was transformed and how he then dedicated himself to God with his passion to share his new faith with others, I realized I wanted the same for my life! I knew God could use me in a powerful way, like He used Paul! I am thankful the movie taught me more about God. I now have a passion to share this Good News with others to make more disciples of Christ!" -- Stefani

March 8 - 14

Prayer Points:
  • Pray for the JESUS Film teams as they share the gospel through the film and other evangelistic tools. Teams across Africa are working towards a vision of reaching one million new church members by 2020.
  • Conflicts in neighboring nations have necessitated Zambia to host over 60,000 refugees. Pray that Zambia would be the location where these uprooted people discover the one true God.
Zambia Team #8 report  --  "When Agripa married his wife, he was required to attend the church she attended most of her life. This church worshipped evil spirits and not the one true God. Both Agripa and his wife had evil spirits living in their bodies. When the JESUS film was shown in their village, they knew they needed to ask forgiveness. The evil spirits have now left and Christ now lives in them. We were thrilled to see thousands of people giving their lives to Christ after watching the JESUS film."

March 15 - 21

Prayer Points:
  • Pray for the JESUS Film teams as they share the gospel with the film and other evangelistic tools in areas that are resistant to the gospel.
  • Guatemala has one of the highest murder rates in all Latin America. Pray for the peace of Christ to prevail.
  • The JESUS film is now available in 13 of the languages spoken in Guatemala. Pray for further languages to be available to those who do not have access to the Bible in their tribal language.
When the team arrived in Edmidio’s village, he and all his family watched the life of Christ. Each gave Christ their hearts and lives and now live for Him. When the team arrived in Hondo’s village, they shared the message of Christ with the EvangeCube. Hondo asked Jesus to forgive his sins once he learned Jesus died on the cross for him. Team #19 is sharing Christ with others and making disciples for Christ, all over Guatemala!

March 22 - 31

Prayer Points:
  • Seventy-six percent of the 38 different people groups in Niger have yet to be reached with the gospel. Pray for teams to have breakthroughs reaching more of these least reached and least engaged people.
  • Nearly 17.5 million Nigerien are oral learners. Pray for teams to successfully witness to them through tools like the EvangeCube and Bible Story Cloths.
  • A radical religion is pervasive in Niger. Pray that its followers are open to the Good News of Jesus, and all social and spiritual barriers are removed.
“I grew up in a radical religious group and studied our holy book in school as a young child,” said Mustafa. “I now study political science in university. I made friends with fellow students who had great compassion. I liked their character and lifestyle. They invited me to watch a film about the life of Christ. When I saw Jesus and the life He lived, I fell in love with Him. Previously, I was violent and treated everyone very badly. Now I also have love, compassion, and forgiveness for others. I share God’s love with everyone on campus. I want all to know about Jesus, as my friends shared with me.
