Togo teams work in areas where people believe in Voodoo, imported statues, and fetishes. Pray that these spirits would be torn down with the truth of Christ. Also pray that Togo church leaders can root out syncretism, false teaching, and idolatry as they shepherd their flocks.

Praise God for team #12’s resilience and perspective after a difficult year: “We were in greater demand this year than previous years. Our last year of ministry was fraught with enormous challenges. But because the Lord is with us, we have triumphed.”

When Bangladeshis begin following Jesus, they know their lives will be difficult. Some are kicked out of their villages. Others have seen their homes and churches burned down. Pray for JESUS Film teams to encourage new Christ-followers to be bold and persevere in their faith.

Praise God for the 791 Preaching Points planted in the last year! Pray for God to raise up spiritually mature leaders in the church who are committed to authentic discipleship.

Pray for the city of Dhaka as it faces many overwhelming challenges with overcrowding, frequent flooding, and pollution. Pray for wise leadership and good management.

Team report: “Brother Gopal helped us show the JESUS film in his village. You could sense a change happening in the villagers as they watched the story of Jesus unfold. We were so grateful God was working in their hearts and minds. After the film, we talked with some villagers who wanted to watch the film again. We received support and assistance from them when we returned and have established a Preaching Point there!”

Many teams in Benin plan to establish churches in areas where depression, animism, and the darkness of satanic practices reign. Pray for the light of Christ to shine brightly through the teams, and for His Kingdom to reign throughout Africa.

Praise God for this report from team #17: “With this pandemic, the Lord has given us new energy to go and comfort our populations with the JESUS film. We are personifying compassion in this time of fear and upheaval.”

Team report: “We visited a village with the goal of starting a Preaching Point. Showing the JESUS film brought so much joy, especially to the children who came in large numbers. The Lord has done wonders! Men, women, and children have given their lives to God and have begun attending the church plant.”

Gangs are now estimated to control over half of Haiti’s territory. Pray for those who despair to find hope in Jesus Christ. Also, pray that government leaders can develop long-term plans saturated with wisdom, justice, and abundant life.

Team #6 shared this note: “The second wave of COVID disrupted our plans and Haiti is facing terrible insecurity. However, we can shout Ebenezer because God is helping us and we are determined to work for His Kingdom.” Praise God for these faithful servants!

New believer: “I did not grow up in the church, but was taught to be loving and respectful of others. Despite this, I felt hopeless because of the route my country is taking. My neighborhood is also becoming increasingly dangerous. After the team showed the film, I felt happy for the first time. I felt the need for Jesus in my life and converted to Christianity without hesitating for a moment.”
