August - Week 1

Prayer Points

  • Pray that the JESUS Film Teams will be resilient while facing increasing transportation challenges as they reach the lost.
  • Teams request prayer for wisdom and spiritual encouragement as they seek to fulfill the Great Commission throughout Uganda.
  • Pray for the safety and courage of new believers as they share the Good News in their communities.

August - Week 2

Prayer Points

  • Please pray for unity in Christ to overcome tribal, political, and denominational division.
  • Pray that the government leaders will be wise and just as they lead the country through a time of political unrest.
  • Teams request prayer that young Christians gain confidence in sharing the gospel in their communities.
Charles is 16 years old. He dropped out of high school because he got addicted to drugs. His life was very bad and he would not listen to his parents. He came to see the JESUS film with his parents and came forward at the altar call. Charles confessed his sins, repented, and asked God for forgiveness. That day, Charles and his parents accepted Christ into their hearts.

  • Teams request prayer for those who have been displaced by widespread attacks from radical groups.
  • Pray for the church to recapture the vision for evangelism of the entire country.
  • Pray for good health and encouragement for team members as they share Jesus with the people of Congo.

August - Week 4

Prayer Points

  • Please pray for the church and its leaders to grow more in spiritual maturity and sound Biblical understanding.
  • Teams request prayer for cohesion and confidence as they share the gospel with remote regions.
  • Pray for true freedom for those in bondage to poverty, disease, witchcraft, and animism.
