JESUS Film Teams often evangelize groups of people who don’t know much about Christianity. After a JESUS film showing, teams work to establish a Bible study group called a Preaching Point. Oftentimes, leaders for these groups are new believers who have great passion for, but little or no knowledge of, the Bible. To address this, JFHP developed and launched the Leadership Toolbox app in the summer of 2023!

This app equips the Preaching Point leader and new Christians with resources to expand their biblical knowledge, discipleship growth, and local evangelism.

The app contains 108 New Believers Bible Studies tracing the story of God from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22. Utilizing pictures from the Bible Story Cloth so many of our teams use for teaching, this resource trains new believers on the essential beliefs of Christianity.

But the studies don’t just focus on facts of the Bible. They also focus on how faith in Jesus is not a one-time decision, it is a relationship that should transform a person’s mind, feelings, and actions toward others. As of right now, the Bible studies are available in 10 different languages.

The app also contains 14 leadership modules, developed to equip the Preaching Point leaders to effectively guide their brand new Preaching Point into a fully organized church. These modules focus on essential aspects of a church leader’s knowledge and abilities—such as how to study and teach the Bible, how to equip church members to share their faith, and how to effectively administer a local church. The leadership modules are currently available in six languages.

One of the most unique aspects of the Leadership Toolbox app is its delivery method. Because many Preaching Points are established in areas with little to no internet access, and books cannot be easily transported, the app can be transferred digitally onto anyone’s mobile device.

The Leadership Toolbox app is an exciting new way for JESUS Film Teams around the world to share the gospel and disciple new believers! By giving these resources and knowledge about the Bible to the leaders of Preaching Points, the kingdom of God continues to grow stronger. There are so many possibilities for how God can use this app to transform the lives of people around the world.
