Legacy of Servants Hearts

Faithfully serving Cuba for 25 years

For nearly 25 years, Cuba Team #4 has been faithfully sharing the gospel in the Baracoa region. Thousands of people’s lives have been changed after experiencing Jesus through the JESUS film in those 25 years.

Alberto, the team’s leader, explains the impact they’ve made with the JESUS film:

“Many broken people have been touched by God. We have witnessed large crowds gather together to watch the JESUS film and many people raising their hands in response to the question: ‘How many of you prayed the sinners’ prayer?’ The other evangelism resources, like the Evangecube, have had an impact, but especially the JESUS film.”

As of July 2024, Cuba Team #4 has reported nearly 18,000 decisions for Christ as a result of their faithful ministry!

Leading a team for so long can be spiritually exhausting, but Alberto says the essence of ministry is keeping intimacy with God. “We strive to keep up the evangelistic efforts to fulfill the purpose of bringing salvation to the lost.”

In difficult times, Alberto and the team trust God in His immense love and mercy to renew their strength, vision, and passion for the lost.

The members of Cuba Team #4 have hearts that are passionate to share Jesus, and are extremely thankful for the financial support of Harvest Partners.

“We always hoped for a ministry where we would not have to ask local churches for offerings to sustain it, since they are mostly small and with few resources,” Alberto said. “Then JESUS Film Harvest Partners came. I remember we asked our leader at the time to thank the person who was supporting us financially. He would tell us that it wasn’t just one person, but many.”

“Those funds made it possible for us to take the gospel to places and communities that were very complicated to reach and that we never dreamed of.”

Alberto and the rest of Cuba Team #4 look forward to continuing their ministry, and want to share this word with those who provide financial support.

“Please continue to support this work, because it is the best investment in the Kingdom of God. Through your offerings, lost people are saved and sick people are healed, the gospel is shown in neighborhoods and communities, new churches are planted, and together we fulfill the Great Commission.”
